John D. Jackson, a Chevron, Texaco, Shell, 76, Conoco, Phillips66, Exxon, Mobil, Valero, Sinclair, and Marathon Marketer based in Meridian, Idaho, founded Jackson Energy in 1980 and has grown to be a nationally recognized supplier of over 1,200 branded and unbranded retail sites in nine western states.
John is personally involved in many associations such as, St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center Board of Directors, US Bank-Western Idaho Advisory Board, Chairman Emeritus National Shell Wholesale Council, Member of the Chevron Western Region Jobber Council; State of Idaho Petroleum Storage Tank Fund Trustee, and the Killebrew-Thompson Memorial Golf Tournament.
Mr. Jackson was awarded Boise Area Chamber of Commerce “Small Business Person of the Year” in 1993, received Idaho Coaches Association “Distinguished Service Award” in 1998, presented with United States Senator Mike Crapo’s “Spirit of Idaho” award in 2003, chosen as “Idaho’s Brightest Star” in 2006 by Governor Dirk Kempthorn and was awarded the Liberty Bell Award by the Fourth District Bar Association in 2011.
John attended Boise State University majoring in accounting.
